Taxi stop
The sign indicates that there is a taxi stop at the location and that the provisions of the traffic rules concerning stops apply. The sign may be placed on a bus shelter.
When you see the sign
You are approaching a taxi rank, where the rules for taxi ranks apply. As an ordinary driver, you must not stop at the rank or within 20 metres of the sign, except briefly to drop off or pick up passengers, provided this does not obstruct taxi traffic.
